152 new hires: attracting talents

Iren Group has focused heavily on skills and young people, which are considered significant factors for facing the strategic challenges of the future.

The aim is to double the number of Iren employees under the age of 30 by 2022, attracting young talent who bring skills that will complement the resources already present within the Group.

This aim saw the first tangible result in 2017 with 152 new hires, over half of whom were under the age of 30. To this we can add the clear majority (around 75%) of people employed on permanent or apprenticeship contracts, which attests to the quality of work relations pursued by the Group.
